More International Exchange students than ever!

More International Exchange students than ever!

More International Exchange students than ever!
Sciences Po Lille is happy to welcome so many International Exchange Students for the academic year 2017/2018.
With more than 180 students from our partner universities coming from all over the World, SPL is literally the place where the world meets!
They will spend one semester or a full year among us!

After the orientation week early September, they started regular courses on September 18th. With the first weeks behind us, now at mid-term of the first semester, the students having had time to adapt to France, Lille and Sciences Po Lille, we can proudly let you know that everyone is doing fine and so far no significant cultural shock has been experienced.
The office of International Programs and Services wishes again a great experience to everyone and its team will always be there to help international exchange students to enjoy Sciences Po Lille, Lille, France, and Europe…..
“Congratulations for choosing to push yourself in pursuit of that kind of experience. Get involved, try new things, and take mistakes in stride– they are part of the learning process, too.”
At Sciences Po Lille, we pride ourselves on being a place where everyone is welcome, and everyone deserves to thrive.

Moreover this semester Sciences Po Lille will be deeply happy to offer among the numberless conferences proposed to students every week, 2 specific events that will certainly draw the crowds of international students:
in collaboration with the US Embassy in Paris, Sciences Po Lille is happy this semester to welcome John W. Franklin, Senior Manager in the Office of External Affairs, at the Smithsonian’s 19th museum, the National Museum of African American History and Culture who will be presenting the challenges faced in the framework of the museum’s creation.

Later, also thanks to the US Embassy in Paris, the 11 December, Professor Brett Gary, from NY University will come to Sciences Po Lille to talk to students about the construction of the Western United States in Hollywood films.
Sciences Po Lille is thus very happy to propose such a diversity in its conferences’ themes

Early December will also be the time for international students to attend a visit of the European parliament, organized by our International relation office

Enjoy France, Enjoy Lille and naturally enjoy Sciences Po Lille!!!
We wish you all the very best for this academic year!!!
